Last year, Maaike finished her bachelor and this year she will be a member of the university council on behalf of VUUR. She studies veterinary medicine and has been active in various associations there. Besides the university council, she will also be on the board of ‘Stichting Dag van het Aangespannen Paard’, this foundation organizes an animal related event in May 2019. In the student body of the university council, Maaike will have the function of secretary. Chances are, that if you contact the university council via mail of phone, you will get in touch with her first. So please send all your questions, ideas and complaints, Maaike looks forward to hear them and work on them together with the rest of the council.
Maaike is especially interested in innovations in education, student participation, selection and integration of student portals. In the council, she will be a member of the Financial, Personnel and IT committee (FPI). If you have any ideas on these subject, feel free to get in touch with Maaike. Besides that, she will be the portfolio holder Personnel in the student body. Personnel matters do have an effect on students after all!
