“I want to make the faculty as caring as possible”
Christophe van der Kwast
“Talking with Christophe, you’ll notice he always has something else to add. His energy and drive make him a very noticeable person. He loves a drink and talking to people. This doesn’t mean he’s not prepared to listen and he cares a lot about what the other person has to say as well. His vibrant attitude is visible in his role as commissioner for external affairs at SV Eureka, where socialising is a part of the function. He also likes to apply his motivation to rowing.
With his energy and positive attitude, he wants to represent students from all backgrounds and hopes especially to represent the people who feel they have less of a voice. Student wellbeing is vital for him, especially now. For this reason, he would like there to be more study advisors to help students who are struggling. This way, people will be able to quickly get help when they run into an issue.”
