Myrte Spaargaren

“Myrte is a busy bee, she really enjoys having a full agenda. She is the current chair of SV Eureka, does two bachelors and works as a greengrocer in a supermarket. She wants to bring this unbridled enthusiasm to the council in order to help make a better faculty. Myrte is originally from Amsterdam and that is hard to miss, she is straightforward and not afraid to speak her mind. With her on the council you can be sure that all pressing questions will be asked and that honesty will be held in high esteem.

Next year, she wants to focus on welfare and inclusion. Myrte wants more attention to be paid to students with persistent problems. She also wants to set up a buddy programme for students who have difficulty making the transition from secondary to higher education. Especially first generation students will benefit from this programme. With these ideas Myrte wants to help make the university a home for all its students.”
